I enjoy the way this picture gives 'life' to a flower. Whether the flower is real or fake it makes no difference, this picture makes it appear to be in some way human, just by the mere setup. Only a human would peer out the window in this way wishing to be part of the world outside. This piece of art therefore makes one looking at it 'feel' something, whether it be the same kind of longing to look outside, or a feeling sorry for the flower trapped inside or just thinking, 'What a cute little flower looking out the window'

I think the cup also adds to the affect, you can nearly imagine the flower having 'improvised' by waiting until no one is looking, jumping out of it's vase and into the nearby cup, which would have made it much easier to hop over to the window.

A joy for the abstract mind to ponder.
